Anti-Insect Masterbatch

Insects are attracted by smell, colour and texture of plastics packaging material. Anti-insect masterbatch incorporates the insect-resistant property in the lamination, blown and cast film during the manufacturing process. It is suitable for extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding process. Anti-insect masterbatch acts on the nervous system of the insects. It controls pests and insects in agricultural, horticultural, forestry and home applications and acts by inhalation and indigestion at the same time. This masterbatch is used in films for wrapping fruit-bearing flowers.
