    For many transparent applications today, traditional glass has been replaced by clear PP polymers. These polymers provide design flexibility, easier processing ability, transparent colour effects and offer cost savings. Clear plastic is used mainly when see-through the material is the prime objective of the end application. The typical ‘hazy’ appearance of polypropylene plastic is replaced by a beautiful clear material with almost a glass-like clarity, even in thicker parts. One can easily see packed products without disturbing its original packing.     New generation of clarifier masterbatch is a cost-competitive product that delivers higher performance, while using standard methods of processing. This new generation of clarifier masterbatch can be processed using available methods of processing – injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion. It can be processed at lower temperatures (220°C), increasing productivity while resulting in energy saving. Clarifier masterbatch enhances the optical properties and reduces the yellowness in the end application.
